College Bound Michigan
By launching College Bound Michigan we hope to streamline the process and make it easier for you to deliver an outstanding and productive year for your seniors. Through the single application you can sign up for one, two, or all three initiatives. In order to be eligible for promotional materials and giveaways, however, your school must sign-up for the full campaign – all three initiatives.
With the streamlined format of the single application, we will need you to come back to the grant system a few times throughout the year to ensure we have some updated information from your site as events come closer. Please make note of the dates below!
July 26, 2019: Deadline to sign up for CBMI and receive promotional materials for Michigan College Month (if signing up for the full campaign).
October 15, 2019: Deadline to provide updated student count details for College Cash Campaign data tracking.
November 15, 2019: Deadline to report Michigan College Month data.

COLLEGE BOUND MICHIGAN COMPONENTS
- Michigan College Month (October) - Michigan College Month is part of the American College Application Campaign initiative with the goal to provide every graduating high school senior the opportunity to apply to college and for financial aid. Special focus is placed on assisting students who would be the first in their families to attend college and students who may not have otherwise seriously considered applying to college.
- College Cash Campaign (November 1 to March 1) - College Cash Camapgin in Michigan's initiative focused on encouraging a school-wide rally around FAFSA and scholarship completion to help students find cash for college.
- Decision Day (Around May 1) - Decision Day is part of the National College Signing Day initiative, and is focused on recognizing high school seniors for their postsecondary educational plans and encouraging younger students and families to prepare early for postsecondary education. College Decision Day is held annually on or around May 1 and is designed to coincide with the date that most seniors must inform a college of their plans to enroll.
